To The Chowan College Family Each year, I look forward to the completion of the Chowanoka. This publication represents the spirit and accomplishments of a great institution. Recorded in this Chowanoka are many events and activities. May 1 take this opportunity to thank you for your participation and for helping to make this a good year. This year our student body represented the college well. Many of you will be departing to continue in your academic pursuits or to work in your chosen profession. To you we pledge our prayerful concern and we respectfully request your lifelong friendship. To those who are returning, we pledge our best efforts to continue upgrading our academic program and providing additional facilities. From you we ask your best efforts as a student and participant in the activities of your college. And from all of you we ask your moral and material support, and to solicit others to do likewise. Let us work together and play together in the true spirit of the friendly atmosphere of our college campus.
