In Memoriam One of Mrs. Anders' Favorite Poems THE ROSEBUD It's only a rosebud A flower of God's design But I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsynh l The secret of unfolding flowers Is not known to such as I The Flower that God opens so sweetly In my hands would fade and die. If I cannot unfold a rosebud This flower of God's design Then how can I think that I Can unfold this life of mine? So I'll trust Him for his leading Each moment of every day , and I'll look to him for his guidance Each step of the pilgrim way. , For the pathway that lies before me Only my Heavenly Father knows, 2 So I'll trust Him to unfold the moments at lust as He unfolds the rose. Kenneth Mansur FERN ANDERS Looking back, we recall Mrs. Anders' gracious manner, her pleasant smile, and most of all her good comments about everyone. Her students will remember her for her love and devotion and for the little extra things she did to brighten each day in the classroom. Others will remember her quiet faith in Godg especially when she learned , because of her illness that she must surrender her service to this community and leave her family. In behalf of all who knew her, the Wildcat Staff dedicates the 1975 yearbook to the loving memory of Mrs. Fern Anders, first grade teacher, who passed away June 25, 1974.
