A 15. id ve, 3 Dedicaiion We , the Senior class of 1974, proudly dedicate the WILDCAT to Mrs. Schultz . During the past years she has given of herself in the various aspects of teaching the elementary grades. Her patience, understand- ing, and quick smile have won the love and admiration of many stu- dents. So to you, Mrs. Schultz, we say many thanks for everything you have done. We will never forget that SILENCE IS GOLDEN. Annual King And Queen Lariia Albrechi Roger Huddlesion Adminisiraiion Superiniendeni MACK EARP Dear Seniors: When you were born, your parents considered you as young plants. In you they planted seeds of love, kindness, truth, patience, honor, industry and other qualities. The weeds of hate , distrust, bitterness and selfishness tried to creep in, but they plucked them out. You have now grown into beautiful young peo- ple . This, Seniors, is a great asset for you and a greater tribute to your par- ents. You should always strive to have the utmost admiration and trust for your parents and fellow man. Sincerely , -MM K High School Principal CLAYTON ENDICOTT This is a challenging age for young people in high school and college. Once there was an expression, youth must go out and set the world on fire . Today it remains for youth to smother the flames that enfold the world at present, and some how draw from the ashes a better and greater world than before, at least a peaceful world. O Junior High And Grade Principal ROY BUTLER As another year reaches its climax , I am pleased with your achievements which will serve as an inspiration to other graduating classes. A liberal education may prove to be your sky-rocket to success. What you read and what you learn govern your thinking and determine how successful you will be in reaching your goals. In this space age , those who do not build an adequate background may be forced into the fallout shelter of disillusionment and disappointment. You underclassmen have time to build your foundation for the kind of record you wish to leave when you graduate. May the years ahead bring good will and prosperity to all students and teachers who have had a part in making Chouteau-Mazie a good school. fa Mazie Principal DAN MORGAN Another school year is rapidly drawing to a close. But the ending of aca- demic learning to our graduates only signals the beginning of a more impor- tant learning. We hope we have prepared you well for this venture , but only time will tell. Your successes and failures will be your grade card from now on . No group has ever stepped from our scholastic halls into a more challenging future. Sincere, dedicated people are in demand in all fields. Innovations are demanding education's best efforts, and we believe we are graduating people equal to the task. Love , MMM Sponsor Napoleon saw Italy, but not the Alps. He had an objective and knew where he was going. Washington saw the Hessians at Trenton. A man of smaller stature would have seen the Delaware choked with ice. The majority sees the obstaclesg the few see the objec- tives: history records the successes of the former while obliv- ion is the reward of the latter. Sponsor Dear Classmates: As the year ends, our time together will fly by. It is to our advantage for we hold the future in our hands. Our annual has at last been completed, and the staff is very proud of our efforts. We have worked hard to make this our school's best yearbook. My thanks go to the capable staff members - LaRita, Bobbi, Donnie, Russell, Mike, Estol, and Gary - and my special thanks to our advisor, Miss Smith. Without the cooperation of the faculty and the student body, this yearbook would have been impossible. Also, we gratefully acknowledge the support given by the various businesses and individuals who have purchased advertising space in our yearbook. I appreciate the opportunity that I have had in serving my school as editor of the 1973-'74 WILDCAT, and I will always remember it as an honor and a privi- lege to have been selected for this job. .Ollie ,MJW4 X , HOOL .W sl! -1 ,Q A1 1.
