 Mr. and Mrs. Earp, Dennis and Mike Seniors, may I encourage you to put forth a great effort to pursue your varied careers. Each one of you will go in separate directions to gain the occupation that will provide a happy livelihood for you. The one thing in life you must remember - there will be many hours of happiness, but you will also be confronted with some disappointments. This is part of the great American way of life, and your destinies will be determined by how you accept each and every one of these disappointments. The faculty of the Chouteau-Mazie schools have done their best to develop those talents which the good Lord has bestowed upon you. Nothing nicer could come a teacher's way than for you to have a happy and successful life. Their hearts are the happiest when you remember they were a part of your life and you come by to say hello. May I say thanks to all the parents of the community for helping provide a good school for the boys and girls of this area. Each year your interest and support will be needed to have a good school. May the Lord bless you for your untiring efforts. Now I say goodbye until we meet again in the unforseeable future. 6

 Dear Seniors: I would like to wish each of you all the success your capabilities will allow; and then a good portion of luck to help you achieve your fondest dreams. Wisdom is needed to distinguish between capabilities and dreams, but remember to set your goals or dreams high enough that you will not become disheartened if it becomes necessary to settle for a little less. 7
