Mr. V. R. Cherry, Supt. Dear Seniors: Your class will be the last one graduating from this building but it does not mean that future graduates will be better. Fine buildings and good teachers can help you over the rough spots when the going gets tough but learning comes only from your own efforts. Every class has its excellent and its poor students. The very best teachers have students that fail. The worst teachers have those who excel. The smallest school offers more learning opportunities than even the best students can assimilate. You have spent roughly 2,160 days preparing for graduation. The real issue is “How did you spend those days?” As you look back you may have regrets but remember all is not lost. Success does not depend on the importance of your job but rather on how well you do the task given to you. Be willing, cooperative, conscientious, and thorough and the world is yours.
