You students at Chouteau School are blessed with two of the finest assets a human can possess, youth and the opportunity for learning. I hope you will use them both well. Today’s world has great need for a new generation with deep understanding and knowledge. To succeed in a material way, you must be better trained than your parents. The competition for a place in the professional world is keener than ever before. To succeed as a human being by living a full and happy life is even more important. The basic tools to accomplish this ambition are appreciation of the arts, philosophy, and human relationships. These are available to you here. 1 trust you will use opportunities at hand well. As Chouteau School students, you represent the leaders of tomorrow, and we desperately need young people with insight, courage, and wisdom. Sincerely, Clayton L. Endicott
