The Annual Staff of 1975 Proudly Presents THE BULLDOG WE, THE SENIOR CLASS OF CHOTEAU HIGH SCHOOL, DEDICATE THIS ANNUAL TO OURSELVES, BECAUSE WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DEDICATED TO ANYTHING! 2 Mr. Robert W. Gormley Mr. Don Murray, Principal Superintendent Superintendent’s Message Chesterfield stated, There are three classes of people in the world. The first learn from their own experience--these are wise; the second learn from the experience of others—these are the happy; the third learn neither from thier own experience nor the experience of others—these are fools. Hopefully the graduating class of 1975 will reflect a combination of the first two classes. Our staff has tried as best we know how to give you both experience and guidance in the acquisition of other's experiences. We trust in your class. You wil be sorely missed. Your good judgment, maturity and common sense have been a delight to us. Congratulations, good luck, and God bless you. Robert W. Spirit is trying harder when you lose. Spirit is doing your best and a little big more. Spirit is not missing a practice. Spirit is playing the game. Spirit is yelling your heart out, and then some. Spirit is a lot of things but mostly spirit is you and me being proud of our team, our coach, and our school. 1975 For Spirit, it was a very good year. Spirit is nylons, a short skirt, and mittens at 10 below COMPETITION Competition is the torch that fuses a man's mind to his body, and the stone that sharpen's a man's spirit. Competition tempers a man physically, hones his reactions to a fine edge. Competition teaches a man to set goals for himself. Competition teaches a man discipline and resolve to help him reach those goals. Competition teaches a man to accept victory humbly, defeat with grace and the vow to compete again-to win. Competition demands effort in pursuit of a goal. Competition demands sacrifice to achieve a goal. Competition demands, but in demanding, gives. Not only is competition the means, it is also the end, for win or lose you have competed and the man who has competed is truly a man. Chuck Nauck Girl’s Track Senior Members Most Inspirational-J.
