ADVERTISEMENTS.........................Rick Stoudt Innuaf c5 tafjf i We, the senior class of 1963, with gratitude dedicate our '63 yearbook, the Choteau High School Bulldog, to JOHN NAUCK. Not only has he been the sponsor of the annual for many years, but he has continually sacrificed his free time to take pictures which made the publication of this yearbook a possibility. So to John Nauck, F.F.A. sponsor, faculty member, and a leading citizen in the community, we present the finished yearbook in the hope that it will give him and many others pleasure. Administration To the graduating s niois, A HEARTY CON- GRATULATION. You have reached your goal of graduation from high school and will now face commencement of the future. Young people today will face a more highly competitive world than their parents did just a generation ago. Your preparation to meet the business, professional and governmental needs of the '60's has to be better than ever, for know how and skills are essential in these fast-mov- ing and demanding years. It is hoped that Choteau High School has pre- pared you for this competitive world and given you a bit of training in assuming that responsi- bility. We sincerely wish you the greatest success in the future. May your ambitions, along with your high school education, aim toward this success. Again, congratulations and the best of success. Keep Choteau High happy, please! 29 Dear A. L., C i ass JJron n ropnectj 1973 - It just doesn't seem possible. This past week when I received a letter from a fellow classmate, I realized that time had really gone by at a fast pace. I was amazed and surprised to hear that Dave Anderson is now employed at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas as a jazz pianist. Guess he's made his first million already. I also was pleased but not surprised to hear that Jan Oertel and Dan Hansen went through matrimonial services and he is a highly qualified dentist and Jan is his assistant. How quaint! Mr. and Mrs. Terry Kelly are now inhabiting an island in the Pacific - rais- ing their own football team. Roger Kelly is now in the midst of his 33rd hiking spree around the world. He is a world famous guide since he conquered the Alps last year. Detra Abbott is now head of the technology department in Reed Hospital. Guess she's made her first million also. A top-notch mechanic who is really working in a greasy spot is Bob Wright. He may be dirty but successful. A really talented classmate is in Paris now, painting labels on bean cans - none other than stormy Janice Stromswold. Many Columbia records are being sold these days. Of course the famous singer is Rich Clough, who sings as well as he flings. A leading secretary who is working in the Treasury Department is Horky Karon George. No wonder we're working in the red! Betty Fjeldheim is now living in San Francisco with her 12 young ones. Cheaper by the dozen! A Trans-World Airlines pilot who is really enjoying life is Ron George. Guess he likes the stewardesses best! At home I hear that Kaylene Larson is raising shetlands because they are more her size. John Little and Walter Malone are now in Kokamonga with the Peace Corps. Guess they really enjoy the foreign talent. (Girls, that is) Phyllis Rice, now Mrs. Ray Yeager, is helping her hubby run their farm in Choteau. Guess they have 3 boys and one girl now. O ass JJrophecu Lately 1 have heard an outstanding laugh in all television shows and movies. It is the professional laugher Sherry Peebles. She also replaces giddy Jane Meadows on What's My Line. Two highly-paid physicists working for the government on space capsules and their function are Kathleen Stokes and Pete Frazier. Don Riener has a small atoll in the Pacific. He always wanted to be the great White God. Wayne Gollehon is now sole owner of Ear Mountain. Bill Rogers and Gary Richem are now partners in building and maintaining the Interstate Highway. Jack Nesbit is editor of the New York Herald. Really gets around for the news, I hear. Rick Stoudt is now owner of Space Fuel Corporation. Really has the busi- ness too! Mike Ferris is a chemical engineer and President of Ferris Corporation of Chemical Engineering. Oh, I forgot to tell you. Don Hansen is a partner with Dave Anderson in Las Vegas. Guess he is a professional guitar player. Donna Burt, as you know, was the first woman to go to the moon in a space capsule. She is the only one out of our class who has visited the White House so far. Ann Chalmers is now raising barley and children on her farm. Andrea Lindseth is now the First Lady's Hair Dresser. Ruth Smith is selling the products of Ferris's Chemical plant. Virginia Stott is a successful housewife and farmer. Since Betty Crocker has passed away, Judy Tangen has taken her place. Louise Truchot is now taking pictures for Paramount. She has the experi- ence and is not embarrassed since she saw so much smooching on Truchot Hill. Carol Wedum is now owner of her own exclusive dress shop in New York. Ethel White is still keeping the home fires burning in Choteau. That is about all the news I have to tell you for now. Keep in touch though and I will write again in ten years. Won't that be interesting?
