It is with joy that we see you graduate, and yet, it is with sorrow that we see you leave Choteau High School. You are an outstanding class, and many of you will make a great name for yourselves in your advanced education and in the vocation or profession you will follow in the future. We sincerely hope that the standards of Choteau High School were high enough to satisfactorily prepare you for the big things we expect of you. To you seniors not going to college, we sincerely hope your high school education has prepared you for a better life. To ail graduating seniors, you face a world with an unknown future. However, practice: (1) loyalty to your country, and (2) exercise the right to vote. Our nation needs a great system of defense - one of education, not one on the battle field. Education is the best defense of nations. - Burke. You have that education. There- fore, take advantage of it in serving your country. So again, congratulations, and good luck to you all. AMBITION: Strike oil, die young and be happy or become a football player. ScKctn 5% Taking off from La Guardia airfield in New York City, now owned by oil tycoon Keith George, we landed on the moon in ten hours, fourteen minutes, three seconds. Flying in Jim Van Cleve's latest rocket Vanguard HI, we arrived safely with few mishaps along the way. The Terror of the Milky Way Bill Alzheimer beat us here by five hours in his own private space ship. On his way here he was picked up for speeding by our Space Patrolmen for the area, Jerry McLaughlin and Larry Poore. We felt very safe in the hands of Mrs. Darold Foxworthy, the former Terry Vance, who after graduating from C.W.C. became an airline hostess for United. She tells us that she and Dee are now the proud parents of three little Foxes, two girls and a baby boy. After arriving on the Moon we were served a beautiful banquet, planned by our interplanetary homemaker Shirley Arnsmyer. In the homemaking field she has taken Betty Crocker’s place. The meat for the meal was provided by the interplanetary Great White Hunter better known to us as Penny Dahlin. The rest of the food was provided by Ruth Alium’s famous restaurants on Earth. Venus and Mars. While planning this banquet and reunion we had only one problem confronting us, that of trying to find Mike Sivak and Jesse Malone who are running a medicine show in the Ozarks called, What Doc Sivak Can’t Cure, Malone Can. Thanks also go to Mrs. Merle Hanson, the former Marcia Issaccson who designed the women's traveling suits. She is now the editor of the interworld famous magazine OUT OF THIS WORLD. Looking around the table we see many famous faces. Of those. Allicia Arensmyer is one. She is private sec- retary for John D. Rockefeller. Phil Young, after having discovered his acting ability in the Senior Class play, went on to Broadway. He gave us his interpretation of Mr. Bach in the Stars. Ray Dickson is now editor of the interplanetary newspaper, The Solar System Times. Sitting next to her boss, Mrs. Bob Bunn, the former Judy Davison is Ray's right hand man as Society Editor. Anna Gail Sabados has become a famous rancher. She is giving the world famous King Ranch in Texas a run for their money. Sitting next was Anna Gail’s foreman, Carol Armstrong, who tells us that she is raising a new breed of horseflesh for buyers in the East. Mrs. L. E. Taylor, the former Phyllis McElroy, was the main financier of the trip. Since her marriage to Larry, who is manufacturing his own Car of Tomorrow, Phyllis has led a very exciting life, traveling all over the world. Society belle, Jacquie Paulus, has really been making the headlines as the famous party giver of New York •City. After the parties she had in high school she was well trained for the job. As we looked around the table, three faces were missing. Bob Hickman, Tony Jaconetty, and Harvey Han- son who are now coaching Football, Basketball and Track respectively, raising their own teams, and arguing about who will get what part of the athletic fund. Another ballplayer in our midst is Roger Gefeller. After leaving the service, he and Farrell Bandow, who is now Roger's manager, went into pro basketball. Roger is now wearing No. 3 for the Minneapolis Lakers. Dean Schrock and Jim Huffman spent the evening comparing notes. Dean has taken over the J. C. Penny Company and Jim is the new owner of Safeway Stores in the state of Montana. The former Judy Seaton who spends her time traveling between the 4-H headquarters in Bozeman and her home in Joliet. She has designed herself a car called the Doodle-bugI Mrs. George Higgens, the former Darlene Dabney, almost didn't get to come. She couldn’t locate her bank- er husband George to come home and take care of the kids. Pendroy has finally made it! I It was recently put on the map for having the first lady mayor in the North- west - our own Sharon Jones. Jeanne Taylor and Virginia McAuley came to the reunion sporting Parisian creations AND beautiful tans. They tell us that they are spending their winters in Paris and summers in Italy. Kenny Rustad, sporting his famous orange pants, is now the manufacturer of the same. His new and very original business is booming. Darlene Shelmerdine almost didn’t make it to the reunion, she was in jail on the charge of bigamy and had to be bailed out by Mary Ellen Bouma, the Wheat Queen of Montana. The former Roberta Hansen is the envy of all residents of Augusta. She is now the co-owner of the thirty- four room, ultra modern, ranch style home that you see on the main street of the metropolis of Augusta. Sitting next to Roberta is Gloria (better known as Mazie ) Vigen Johnson. She is here on her first vacation since her marriage to Kenny. By the way, Kenny's home with all the little Johnsons. The former Sue Frazier was the hot rod fan in our midst the night of the reunion. She has a string of race cars, all built like her original Whoppy that ole' red Chevey that she used to drive to school. Melvin Moon, who was active in F. F. A. as President, is now a wheat farmer in Canada. He has made his first million - is now on his second. In conclusion, by popular demand, that world famous pianist, the former Clarice Wright, led the graduates I z4t TViCt z td 7e4t4 neKt SeKt uy, ?5 % We, the Class of 1958, of Choteau High School, School District 1, City of Choteau, County of Teton, and State of Montana, being of sound mind and body, do hereby conclude this as our last will and testament.
