Class Prophecy BELLVIEW SCHOOLHOUSE, TWENTY MILES WEST OF CHOTEAU. MAY 24, 1967. The senior class of 1957 met to hold their ten year reunion. As part of the entertainment, each mem- ber of the class told of the part he has been playing in society for the last ten years. The welcoming address was given by David Jones, who has finally attained his goal—Mayor of Pendroy. Mr. and Mrs. Gieg Whipple flew down from Alaska, where they are living in a luxurious 65” by 50” igloo. Mrs. Whipple is the former Janet Rose. Margaret Burkhead was recently crowned America's most perfect housekeeper. Dr. Duke Crary was late in arriving, as he had to perform a major ”sliverectomy. ” Betty Dhane VanSetten was able to attend, also. She left Louie home with the kids. Dick Mauseth is now Chief of Police in Choteau. He has no mercy for any law-breakers, even his old classmates, Pete Howard and Larry Broere, who insist on going 26 mph instead of 25. Betty Jo Orne drove up in her Volkswagen, which is just her size. She is contemplating getting an airplane, though, as she wears out too many sets of tires traveling between Choteau and Valier. We find Joanne McDonnell married to Toad Gebhart, and busy raising a family. Charlotte Bond now has her own store and service station called CHAR'S.” Don McCracken is still attending Brigham Young, as he can't decide what he wants to be. By the way, he still can't resist, pardon the expression, girls. Gina Durr keeps busy, as she is managing her Hereford ranch west of Choteau. She is now known as the Cattle Queen. Doris and Delores Rowley have been touring Europe, where they have sung in a number of concerts. Their theme song is It All Began in Old Choteau Hi. Ronnie Burgess, after many attempts to find a suitable business, has decided to do nothing. He re- cently won the title of the world's foremost pool shooter.” Ruby Hansman attended M.S.C., where she received her degree in Home Economics, and also her MRS. Lila Gollehon now has her own chain of drugstores, and they have become so well known that she is putting the Rexall Company out of business. Bill Chalmers and Lee Nordahl, our budding scientists, are working on a gasless car. Jack Schrock and Jerry Lewis recently formed a partnership. Sharon Herzog Marcoff enjoys living in Simms, and keeps quite busy caring for her triplets and two sets of twins. Joan Luinstra attended Kinman and is now employed in Spokane. Bonnie Brown has opened a new drive-inn in Choteau. She has been inventing new sundaes and sodas to please her customers. Dee Foxworthy is a Certified Public Accountant, and is doing quite well. He had a difficult time de- ciding whether to bring his new Buick or his new Oldsmobile. Mary Lynn is her father's secretary at Olsen Insurance Company. Dave Wedum is District Supervisor of the Forest Service in the Choteau City Park. Marlene Weist is principal of the Agawam School, and is very popular with her students. Cal Murray has seen most of the United States in these last ten years. He is now president of the Gulf Oil Company. Arlene Depner is Medical Technician at the Teton Memorial Hospital. Bill Halvorson is proprietor of all the big businesses in Pendroy and is gening very wealthy. Jay Dunkel recently renewed his contract with the North Carolina Tarheels. Fern Cherry attended Montana State University, where she received her degree in Business Administra- tion. I j

Cast Will and Zestament We, the Class of 1957, of Choteau High School, School District 1, City of Choteau, County of Teton, and State of Montana, being sound of both body and mind, do hereby conclude this as our last will and testament. To the Science Department we will the knowledge acquired there by the performed experiments. To the English Department we will our grammar and vocabulary. To the Mathematics Department we will our own formulas that shall never be found in a book. To the Commercial Department we will the time spent in this cheerful place. To the faculty we will the happy and tragic experiences we gave them so that they will remember us. Leslie Howard wills his ability to make the junior girls mad to Tony Jaconetty. Be careful, Tony, it's dangerous. Dick Mauseth leaves his girlfriend, Karen, to Bill Alzheimer. Joann McDonell wills her ability to get two engagement rings in her senior year to Jacquie Paulus. Lee Nordahl wills his quietness to Gary Jacobson and Farrell Bandow. Betty Jo Ome wills her ability to be faithful to Teri Vance. Doris Rowley wills her quietness to Jim Huffman. Greg Whipple wills his football shoes to Bob Hickman. Good luck. Bob. Cal Murray wills his tallness to Roger Gefeller. Don McCracken wills his smile to Mike Sivak. Use it a lot, Mike. Mary Lynn Olsen wills her good times to Teri Vance and Judy Davison. Sharon Herzog wills her ability to get a diamond in her senior year to Darlene Shelmerdine. Lila Gollehon wills her littleness to Joyce Henderson. Joan Luinstra wills her late nights to Virginia McAuley. Don't let it interfere with your studies. Fern Cherry wills her quietness to Roberta Hanson. David Jones wills his ability to talk to Harvey Hanson, as if he needed it. Charlotte Bond wills her ability to ride in a convertible to Mary Ellen Bouma. Jay Dunkel wills his conceit to Phil Young. Take good care of it, Phil. Daroid Fox worthy wills Teri Vance to the Junior Boys. Duke Crary wills his red hair to David Allen. Don’t change it too often, Dave. Virginia Durr wills her good grades in commercial work to Darlene Dabney. Marlene Weist leaves nothing, she's taking Pete with her. Larry Broere wills all his good times to Jesse Malone. Make good use of them, Jesse. Ronnie Burgess wills his walk to Ray Erickson. David Wedum wills his hunting ability to Dean Schrock. Margaret Taylor Burkhead wills her ability to get married in her senior year to Phyllis McElroy. Jack Schrock wills his ability to capture the Freshman girls to Jim Van Cleave, Roger Gefeller, and Keith George. Janet Rose wills her ability to fool people with engagement rings to Carol Armstrong, Penny Dahlin, Jean Taylor. Delores Rowley wills the typing room to Gloria Vigen, Shirley Arensmeyer, and Sue Frazier. Don’t fight, girls. there's plenty of typewriters. Bill Chalmers wills his friendly smile to Doug DeBoer. Arlene Depner wills her place in the Science Room to Walter Gebhart. Make good use of it, Buzz. Betty Dhane wills her tallness to Anna Gail Sabados, Bill Halverson wills his ability to sing Party Doll to Jerry McLaughlin and Melvin Moon. Ruby Hansman wills her place in the Library to Marcia Isacson. Don't be too strict. Duke Crary wills his convertible (the model T, that is) to Clarice Wright so she can take Harvey riding around after school, Barbara Brown wills her crusy to Sharon Jones, good luck, Sharon.
