LORRAINE NICKIE TOMAYER MARY TRUCHOT HARLEY YEAGER JEAN ZIER TINTINGER Lipstick and the mighty Sophomores welcomed the thirty-six Fresh- men into Choteau High. Initiation was the first step of welcome, in which we bowed to the upper classmen, came in the back door, wore four yards of green ribbon, pajamas inside-out and backwards, and of course, lipstick from head to toe. Our class officers were: Leo Rowley, President; Rachel Armstrong. Vice President; Ellery Crary, Secretary-Treasurer; Jean Zier and Ray Anderson, Class Representatives. In 1952 we came back to school looking forward to initiating instead of being initiated. Class officers were: President, Ellery Crary; Vice President, Ray Anderson; Secretary-Treasurer, Sandra Hanusa; Class Representatives, Janis Bueling and Dick Arensmyer. Our biggest project of the year was the “C” which was put on a hill on the Augusta highway.
