CLASS PROPHECY It is 1970 and l have just returned from an extended tour of the seven seas. Upon my voyage I have had many harrowing experiences--strange as it may seem while I was marooned in the South Seas one night upon a blood-stained deck, Chief Red Legs prophesied the following features for the Seniors of 1959. Bill Means is still a bachelor and working on his 2nd million. He missed his first. Clair Horsman is now engaged in drawing Mutt and Jeff Cartoons. Judy Krenzke is the roving reporter on Advice to Lovelorn for the Chatfield News. Rita Butler has one of the best Used Car Lots this side of the Mississippi. Richard Severson is head stock buyer for Hormel. John Bras has just returned to his farm from a lovely trip to Niagara Falls. Teresa l-lunfeld and Linda Copeman recently com- pleted a series of paintings for Esquire boot polish. Bonnie Stecker and Laurie Stephens are now making a thorough study of all the Smiths in the U. S. Beata Shaw is running a steak house with specialty, Well-done steaks. Donna Asleson and Ronda Easler are now writing a book entitled 10O Ways to Appear Tall. Kay Meunier has broken her own record again play- ing on All-American Women's Basketball Team. She is now up to 55 points per game. Jim Buchanan is the State Highway Patrolman whose specialty is bringing to justice reckless driving and il- legal mufflers. Bob Walker and his wonder horse, Flyalong, have signed a contract with QGMGJ Guido Movie Guild for a new movie entitled Dead-Eye Dies Again. Rosemary Scott is the operator of a peanut stand in Coney Island. Jean Mitchell now owns and operates the Wilder Wildcat Night Club of Wykoff. From Chatfield Dairy we hear that Marguerite Lucas and Dennis Hove are working on a new milk product. At last report they were feeding cocoa beans to the cows and getting chocolate milk. Barbara Schrader is the President of Brooklyns Women's Wrestling Association. Bill Conway recently married a hard working woman and retired. Kenneth Baier is now high up in the world--washing windows in the Empire State Building. Carl Dailey is a lonesome sheepherder in the Lone Star State. Jerry Richter is Wanted! for robbing old ladies' homes. Lois King is working for the underground-ticket taker for a subway train. Sharon Butler raises many children every day- -as an elevator girl. After many years of knocking about here I am back again at Chatfield High School to find every portion of Chief Red Leg's prophesy has been fulfilled.
