The Gophers also stepped out of the conference four times winning three and dropping the other to Spring Valley 65 to 63 only after two overtime periods had been playcd to feature one of the seasons top cage games. Chatfield drew Lanesboro in the first round of tournament play winning 53 to 38. Then were eliminated by Harmony 4l to 38, in the second round to play. The Gophers officially ended their basketball for l95O by edging Canton 54 to 56 in the consolation game. The Gophers compiled an overall average of 58 points a game while the opposition was held to an average of 4l points per conteest. The six seniors on the first ten were Ca pt. Jim Larson, Jerry Pease, Larry Garry, Lowell lsensee, Jim Wheeler and Jerry Witte. ,V
