History W' In the year l938 we the Senuor Class of l95O started our trup to our destunatuon graduotuon lt was a long hard but enjoyable trup whuch took twelve years rn all The furst stop over was the furst grade un whuch Muss Pfeffer mode us very welcome Here we learned how to read such thungs as Run Jock and See Jock Run Of all those who began thus adventure seven have contunued the gloruous journey together throughout the twelve years Sam Arser Robert Follensbee Lyle Mundell Mary Peters Mary Poulune Lynch Deborah Haven and Sylvua Luedke Movung on we came to the second grade wuth Its archutectural structure the post offuce We made thus out of blocks and many very umportant messages went through uts portals Also memorable was the note that Mary Peters wrote Notes were not permussuble--conse quently Mary stood behund o screen the rest of the after noon Muss Hahn helped us make butter and a delucuous lunch of butter and crackers was enjoyed Everyone passed unto the thurd grade Thus was prob ably one of the eosuest laps of our gourney Muss Olson taught us all how to be successful gardeners We each roused a luttle plant whuch we kept down un Bull Hervey s workshop Frequent trups were made down there to see how the plants were growung and to talk to Uncle Ball When Mother s Day rolled around guess what our mothers got The next stop we made was un MISS Morrusroes fourth grade class Here unspectuon took place each mornung What tume dud you get to bed? Dud you brush your teeth? Are your hands clean? hugh school whuch we no doubt were This year our generosity overflowed at Chrustmas tume we all chupped un a nuckel and bought Mr Olson a game of chess The fortunate ones jounung the congenual class Golloghers noted eughth grade homeroom Muss Gal lagher sow to ut that our Englush curruculum was com plete Upon leovung thus class we felt ourselves to be authorutues un eughth grade Englush Durung thus year we acqusred eught more adventurers Jerald Banker Shur ley Barth Kathryn Courtuer Vjrgunua Fenske Larry Garry Rosemary Lundt Margaret Lynch and Lyle Narveson The year l946 saw us all enterung our advusor saw us safely unto the sophomore class where we were greeted by Mrs Mutchell The novel of thus year was Sulas Momer and the Readers Dngest became our staunch stand by Our famous trademark artusts Mr Follensbee and M Wheeler created theur well known T e Hat Our class was very proud to have Ruta Grubb as our home comung attendant Our junuor year was very successful Ruta Gruffun was awarded state declamatuon honors our prom entutled The 49 s un honor of the senuors was the reward of great efforts put forth by we junuors our basketball squad was presented wuth the dustruct champuonshup trophy and the class play We Shook the Famnly Tree revealed to us much drarnotuc talent Vuolet Subra jouned us un the last two laps of our journey Mary Lynch represented our class thus
