Joining the 14 seniors, 29 new members were inducted into the National Honor Society. The new inductees pledged with the current members to maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, service leadership, and character. ' After November 7th, the induction, the NHS members jumped into a bake sale, the major fund-raiser for the year. The NHS sponsored a tutoring program at Margaret Brent Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The tutoring was all done by the members, volunteering their time after school to 8th grade Algebra students. Helping others and being true to the pnnctples for which the Society stood were the main goals of NHS and each student and advisor involved.
