Fall and spring blood drives were held at CHS. Many seniors par- ticipated in this good cause. A high school was the ideal place to have a blood drive, it brought in young people who were willing to donate blood and class periods. The blood drive was on a volunteer basis, but encouraged any student 18 or older to help out the Red Cross. The donors were rewarded and nourished with refreshments after they gave blood. All in all, blood donating wasn’t that bad; it gave you the good feeling of helping a person in need. It is all for a good cause and I even get fed here. With full effort, the seniors tried to pull their way back into one of the top standings, but they fell to the sophomores. Seniors
