The cast rehearsing. THE MUSIC DEPARTMENT of CHOPTICON HIGH SCHOOL presents “KISS ME, KATE’’ The spring of 1969 brought to CHOPTICON a new high in musical shows with the Music De- partment’s presentation of Cole Porter’s “Kiss Me, Kate.” Backed by a large cast of dancers and ex- citing singers, “Fred Graham,” our Fred Dixon ’69, acts out the eternal triangle with “Lillie Vanessi” played by Myra Davis and Debbie Payne ’69 and “Lois Lane” played by Jane Mossman and Linda Brubacher on alternate days. Other speaking and singing parts were played by Rodney Ashton, Wayne Davis '69, Johnny Alvey, John Bowling, Rob- ert Hall, Harold Miller ’69, Larry Joy, Jay Hurry, and Ted Weiner ’69. Specialty dances were per- formed by Vicki Mossman, Diane Dickerson, Francis Nelson, Gladys Ware ’69, and Rodney Ashton. 18 Lillie (Myra Davis) speaking out.
