Homecoming ’86 SL [U aring the S H rit at J4 omecomin Homecoming this year brought out the worst in the weather, but the best of spirit. Even though steady rains hampered the final week of working on floats club members remained spirited trying to salvage what they could until parade time. The morning pep rally we shared with alumni, community members, and two special guests. Mr. Jim Leonard and Mr. Bryan Lindsay, former choral and band directors for the school returned as special Homecoming guests. Clubs announced their sweethearts and gentlemen and the Homecoming Court with Queen Buffy Barron was announced as well. Coronation ceremonies were delayed due to storming weather at halftime, but most of the parade made it around the track. The court was presented at the next home game.
