Probably the most significant of all is the fact that graduation marks a Cross- road where many childhood friends and chums go different directions ........ we hope such friendships can be recalled by the contents of this annual ........ The Seniors are fortunate in having him as their class President and they have learned that where duty calls, there he is to be found. Besides being class President Jimmy belongs to the Dance Club, was Co -Captain of the Football team, Captain of the Basketball team, and is one of the most active members of the Key Club. ROGER TAYLOR'S most distinguishing characteristic is his ability to show the world a friendly face, and he is just as cheerful as his face shows, Roger is Junior Class President, is on the varsity team in Football, belongs to the Dancing Club, plays in the school Orchestra and School Band and is also an active member of the Key Club. DODD SOUTHERN is President of the Student Body and is one of the most active students in the school. He believes that if you give the world your best, some good will come back to you. Besides being President of the Student Council, Dodd belongs to the Dancing Club, and is also President of the Key Club. He plans to attend the Coast Guard Academy upon finish- ing High School. Qs., ,A .,x4yA 5.1 7 ,X , JIMMY BRUNER was always quiet and said so little that we hardly realized he was working, but we soon discovered that he acts instead of only planning. He painted the Indian on our gym floor. He also belongs to the Key Club, Dance Club, and is our Annual Staff artist. PAT PAUL works with a patience that is almost power, But her most valuable asset is her ability to accomplish what she sets out to do and her friendly ways. She is secretary of the Senior Class, on the Annual Staff, Paper Staff, and Office Staff. She is also in the Dramatics Club. gf X -.!7r,v' Q JOHN BURKE wins his reputation by always doing something worth- while and useful. He is quiet and unassuming but always on the job, He played guard in Football, belongs to the Student Council and Letterman's Club. He is also in the Beta Club and was Basketball manager. LIZ MCLEOD was chosen Co-Captain of the Cheerleaders. She is also on the Annual Staff, Paper Staff, in the Beta Club and Dance Club. The best that is to be found in Liz is an honest friend. She has a winning way and a pleasant smile. ANNIE REE SIMPLER is well known to all on the campus, for her vivacious spirit and numerous achievements. She is Co-Editor of the Annual, a member of the Office Staff, Beta Club, Newspaper Staff and Dancing Club. Q Q ,g., director. IMOGENE KELLY is an outstanding person as well as a good student. She has a friendly disposition and a pleasing personality, Imogene is an accomplished pianist in - addition to being eligible for membership in the Beta Club. She has served as accompanist for the Glee Club for two years and was chosen as Co-Editor for the Annual. .T .iii M' 4 ' i DANNY McLEAN gained membership to the Letterman's Club through his efforts in Basketball. Because of his dependability and capability he was selected as one of the Business Managers on the Annual Staff. Danny is a student well worth note, DON SNEAD is a member of the Camera Club and a devout camera fiend, He helped the photographer in making the pictures for the Annual. He is also Co Editor of the Annual Don is energetic in his efforts toward helping the Band I CHARLES ROLLEN is a member of the Key Club as well as the Lertertnan's Club. He was chosen for the responsible position as one of the business managers for the Annual, Speak of a winning personality, our own Charles Rollen has gained many friends through this wonderful medium, PAM REEVES is a member of the Beta Club and acts as Junior Class Student Council Representative. Her friendly eagerness to help others and charming personality have caused many to take note. Pam is also Junior Class Secretary, fe-X GEORGE LANDRY--better known as Red is Vice President of the Junior Class and holds the same office on the Student Council. He earned membership in the Letterman's Club by playing quarterback on the football team, Red's friendly nature has made him a campus favorite, BARBARA ROGERS is an active member in all of the Junior Class activities. She is also on the News- paper and Annual Staff. Barbara has helped tremen- dously in the preparation of the Annual, in both the Art and Layout sections. H RED OWENS can be commended for his perse- verance and ease. Red drives a student bus and is a Business Manager for the Annual. JOE McLAlN is a student of note! He is one of the best liked and most friendly stu- dents on the C, H, S, campus. A typical function of this type is the annual band day staged by F.S.U. at Tallahassee. There the style marchers joined thirty other bands in a display of marching and playing. This was a long busy day, but everyone enjoy- ed it. These trips are planned and directed by the director, James H. Leonard and the Drum Major, Larry Keating.
