Come on girls, rolling the mats out can't be that much fun!!! This was the first year to have both Varsity and Ir. Varsity matmaids. There were 14 varsity girls whose captain was Michelle Welch and Co- Captains were Carrie Higbee and Amy Spr- ingfield. There were 5 I. V. Girls whose captain was Shelley Fabian. The Matmaids hold a very important position in wrestling. Besides supporting the guys at almost all of the away matches and tournaments, they had many responsibilities at home matches. Such as: taping the mats together, setting up chairs, mopping the mats, making sure the wrestlers have water, and cleaning up the gym after a match. They also had bake sales to raise money. Congratulations girls, your hard work was appreciated.

'O 59 ,DO s Q., Lady Jackets improve . . . The Lady Jackets have had a very successful season finishing the year with a 13-4 record. Although finishing 3rd in their conference they have produced a lot of good athletes. Three juniors-Karon Leverich, Patti Hopkins and Torl Fauchier were named to the all- conference lst team. We would like to congratulate these 'players for their accomplishments and skills. They will all be returning, since they are juniors. We are looking fonvard to a great season from them. Sr. Angie Phillips hits a shot for a base hit. Sr. Laura Dickey shuts down P.C. North for a win. iw-LL' Liizsasi 30 Softball Angle Marler, Gina West, Karon Leverich, Treva and Tracey Robinson show their spirit at the P.C.O. Toumament. Coach Jordan demands the all from her players.
