So when he took Phyliss Rankin, his sweetheart and promised wife, to a dance and she steps all over his feet, he tells her so ...... causing himself a great deal of grief Henry also forced to give up his business because he simply would not sell something to his customers that he knew was lacking in quality. In a short time, he loses his sweetheart, his business and all his friends. The manner in which Henry fights for, his ideals, pro- vides an evening of joyful entertainment for the audience as well as three weeks of fun and hard work for the entire play cast.
