In the first part of the season they lost a Conference game each to Jones and Harrah before they came into their own and won their third Conference game over Luther by a score of 25-8. From then on the Gremlinettes took heart, and the club blossomed into a rugged contender. Later in the season they defeated Jones by a large margin as well as Harrah. Proving they were a club with lots of pep, enthusiasm, and superb teamwork they went into the County Tournament defeating State Center, then the seasoned undefeated Putnam team, and eliminated the Crooked Oak lassies in the finals to win the title of HCounty Champions.H Dueto their year's good record they were seededin the District Tournament with NcLoud and came through to the finals by defeating Harrah and Dale, but eliminated in the finals by McLoud. They played a wonderful game, and we're looking forward to having them all back another year. Llink Cnknnl Dkunin-al lfflnn-:fins-1 Place f . Xt lf Junior High Physical Education Class Like the Senior High basket ball team their soft ball group is a brand new club. ho match games were had during Fall practice, but in their daily work-out they promised to be a strong contender by the time the County Tournament is held. So when he took Phyliss Rankin, his sweetheart and promised wife, to a dance and she steps all over his feet, he tells her so ...... causing himself a great deal of grief Henry also forced to give up his business because he simply would not sell something to his customers that he knew was lacking in quality.
