THIRD FORM STORY Choate Rosemary Hall is the land of Camelot for the class of 1986. Someday ialthough many of us may not think sol one of us will pull the sword out of the rock. Third form for everyone has many memories. The first time at boarding school away from home, away from parents can be a humorous experience when looked back upon. For example, dropping your tray in Hill House during the major dinner rush can be really embarrassing. As the year went along, third formers looked to Friday morning meetings as the time for sports reports from our regular reporters. They informed everyone of the weeks' activities varying from varsity skiing to eighth period swimming to varsity suntanning on Nichols Beach. Some beach bums were: Disby, Straight-eyed Mel, Meglette, Gerbil, Curlybee, Katred, Chasten, Krisiae mithibus, and Yinda Baby Strainburger. ln the 1983 land of Camelot, yes, there was even a Sir Lancelot. Lancelot lsorry, no kisses, he is a hamster with big beetle eyest inhabited Nichols unbeknownst to the advisors and house counselors. Water battles occurred after lights out. Snow wars between Mem, Nichols, Logan, and Mead were fought till the end during animal hour. The cymbolics were the third form entertainment for the troops. Then, all too quickly, the adventure ended. We grew from ambivalent footmen to knowledgeable Choaties - ready to become the new fourth form. In the future at least one of the rambunctious third formers will become famous, just like Sir Arthur. - Melina Haeussler
