nango H SCHOOL 1 COME TO R COU IQ« 1 Mr. Dymond, Mr. Patterson (former Physics Club Advisor) On December 23,1984 the new Chittenango High School sign was dedicated to Mr. Dean Dymond Mr Dymond retired in June '84 after 22 years of teaching reading at the High School. In addition to his teaching he coached golf, built stage sets and announced the Bears home football games. For this last contribution he was dubbed the Voice of the Bears . The sign was donated by the Physics Club. They, under the direction of Mr. Ken Patterson, worked for two years to earn the money needed to show their appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Dymond. We, the Class of 1985, would like to join the Physics Club in expressing our gratitude and appreciation to a fine teacher and friend. Thanks Mr. Dymond. 2 DEDICATION %c MR. DI We, the Class of 1985, wish to express our most sincere apprecia- tion and gratitude to a man who has touched all of us, Mr. DiCh- ristina. Mr. Di is a constant figure in the halls of CCS and on the sidelines of any sporting event regardless of the hour. As Physical Education Instructor, coach, and Athletic Director, Mr. Di's job is an important one, but he goes beyond this to be an advisor and a friend. His endless support, encouragement and guidance are in- valuable, and so is he. For all that you do, Mr. Di, we thank you. 3 UP WHERE WE BELONG Junior Prom Sat., May 19th, 1984 King John Cooper, Queen Vicki German Princess Sara Bienkowski, Prince Kevin Hamilton Princess Kelly Bruno, Prince Tim VanWie OFFICERS BOY'S STATE, GIRL'S STATE, DAR L-R: Heather Peterson (Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen), Todd Relyea, Jeff, Reaume, Scott Minor, Chris McCarthy (Boy's State), Debbie Suhey (Girl's State) VISITOR FROM YUGOSLAVIA L-R: Joe Healy, Todd Pittman, Jay Kirsch Zoran, Jennifer Kerr, Sue Chavoustie, Beth Gauthier Chittenango High School was fortunate to welcome this year's foreign exchange student Zoran Psenicnik. In silence we wept your death. We tried to do as you would have done; your wishes we tried to grant. We held our heads high, we were strong for those nearest to you. Memories of you we cherish now; your smile, the gleam in your eyes, and when you laughed out loud. But please remember this one thing; Your friendship is what we valued most, dear friend. Be not deceived by past tense dear friend. For your friendship shall be with us till the end, if not in our hearts then surely in our minds. 52 So rest easy, DEAR FRIEND. ----------Cheryl E.
