ADMINISTRATION To The Class of 1982, At commencement you will reach one plateau in your lives. You should be proud of this achievement and at the same time realize that there are other hills to climb. I hope that each of you will be able to achieve success and happiness in your lives without doing so at the expense of others. I wish you good health and happiness in your future. To The Class of 1982: For twelve years you have been a member of a mini-society for several hours each day. Your personal and social responsibilities here have been allowed to grow slowly. Consciously or subconsciously you have passed many portals and you now stand on the last threshold here, ready to pass into a society from which there are no vacations and where the requirements are the same for all. Our job is done, yours is just beginning. The competition will be great regardless of your endeavors but your success will be measured only by your level of personal and social responsibility. Although your paths may separate here, you still touch each other through the society you create. » FOREWORD We all have at leaat one goal in life — a rainbow we want to build. We often rely on past experiences and acquaintances to guide us and to help us attain our goals. On June twenty-sixth, the Senior Class will reach one goal — graduation. However, we could not achieve this honor without experiencing all that we did this last year. This year's Palladium commemorates our Senior year and the rainbows we tried to build. The theme, Memories are rainbows that soon fade, but reoccur in a special way,” was chosen because every time we open our 1982 Palladiums, we will relive a part of our lives that fades with each passing year. — L.M.B.— ft 6
