c ffifixsaLation MISS NANCY JENNINGS; What else can we say except that without Miss Jennings as an 8th grade English teacher, what would our vocabulary be like now? She also saved the day by becoming the “Palladium” advisor this year. Our class will never forget her favor- ite word — “obnoxious.” We want to thank her for always being there and let her know she is appreciated. MR. MITCH ERION; The Class of ’78 wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to a man who has been more than a teacher to us, he has regarded us more as his friends than as his stu- dents. His concern has gone outside the class- room. and he will always remain a part of our lives. 3

MR. JAMES CALLAGHAN; This year the Class of ’78 is dedicating the Palladium to a very talented man who has given so much of himself to our school. Not only is Mr. Callaghan head of the music department, he also directs the Junior chorus, the Senior chorus, the Jentones and Jentrys, and the Spring Musical. We want to thank you for really caring and never losing your faith in us. Keep up your enthusiasm and may you continue to work here at C.C.S. for many years to come. 2

To the Class of 1978; The song Memories has a special meaning for each of you at this time. Memories of the past few years will become more and more valuable as time passes. I hope that you have developed the necessary traits to enable you to be suc- cessful in the future. Success is only real if it is truly earned and not accom- plished at the expense of others. I have enjoyed my association with each of you and certainly hope that you will visit us as time permits, so that you can maintain contact with your high school. Your friend. Harold W. Talbot, Jr. High School Principal To the Class of ’78; I feel fortunate that I was able to get to know many members of the Class of ’78. You impress me as a group of friendly, happy people who work hard to meet requirements and obligations. Hopefully, you have a sense of satisfac- tion in your accomplishments. By setting sensible goals and then by earnestly working to achieve them, one can have a rewarding life that is both exciting and fun. My advice to you is to work hard but don’t forget to enjoy yourself. If there is something you want to do. whether it be travel, or further schooling, or particular employment, don't permit uncertainty to prevent you. Satisfaction in life depends on your ability to experience your interests and meet the goals you set for yourself. Good luck to each of you and always remain cheerful and friendly.
