Teachers Earn Appreciation The Senior Class is unanimous in its admiration for Mr. Getchonis. As advisor for the senior class, he endures senioritis, magazine sale, candy sale, senior dinner dance, not to mention getting everyone through driver-ed alive, and still maintains his sense of humor. Anyone who has had Mr. Hutko as an Earth Science or Gen- eral Chemistry teacher knows how fully he involves himself in his work and students. His active participation with the Honor Society exemplifies his role of caring. This corner of the yearbook has been put aside in order to thank a terrific teacher. The demands that Mr. Conklin made of the Senior Class when they were rank eighth graders first introduced to biology helped to form some of their better academic habits. His classes are an experience one never forgets. 5
