To The Class of 1973: The record shows your class has had many and varied achievements over the past years in the Chittenango Central School. I have followed your endeavors very closely and am proud to be a part of them, both as a parent of one of the seniors and as the ihief school administrator in our school district. The time has come now to put your talents to work as you choose your field of employment. Some will go to work ''Imlfiediately, others will pursue further education, and still others will enter the services. All have a job to do in the future in making our communities a more happy and secure place to live. To the Class of 1973, Please accept my personal congratulations upon your graduation from high school. We hope that your choice in the years ahead will bring you rewards in many ways. This generation has been often told that it is more important to give of oneself in the development of man- kind than work to accomplish personal wealth. I believe this philosophy is commendable, but should not be misun- derstood. Many of the great humanitarians in our history have accomplished both. It is not wrong to work toward and enjoy material things as long as you do this in a way that does not violate humanitarian philosophies. Your way of life can well be a matter of choice in your goals, accom- plishments, and actions. My best wishes go out to you and your families as you leave Chittenango High School.
