Graduation from high school is the culmination of many things for each student. Effort, time and money has been put forth by many people to make it possible for you to reach this point of graduation. I am sure that you appreciate their efforts, as they have appreciated yours, in making this happy occasion possible. I most sincerely congratulate you and wish you success in your future endeavors. Charles F. Seamans Assistant High School Principal To the Class of '64: The choices you make today become the trav- elled roads of tomorrow. Each decision you have made has had a definite effect on your life in certain ways. While in school your parents and teachers have been readily available to help you arrive at decisions and understandings. Now you take a giant step in the direction of independence. I feel that you go well prepared since the opportunity to make choices has been an important part of your education at Chittenango Central School. Though you may feel you stand alone, try to remember two factors that you learned from the past: (1) the methods used previously to arrive at wise decisions; (2) and the need you may sometime have for advice and counsel of a trusted friend. So as you leave, I extend my sincere congratu- lations and hope that your future judgement will never be imperiled by the major stumbling block of all—that of not believing in oneself. Warren E. Jerome High School Principal

To the Class of 1964: It is always most gratifying to be able to give my very heartiest congratulations to a graduating class. Your class deserves an extra measure of praise due to your tremendous achievements over the past years in Chittenango Central School. We fully realize that your graduation day is not an end in itself but a commencement or a be- ginning of a beautiful future. Whatever your calling, remember Thomas A. Edison once said, I never did anything worth doing by accident; nor did any of my inventions come by accident; they came by work. So be it, neither has your education and achievements thus far been accidental. The efforts and sacrifices by you and your parents and guardians are well worthwhile and commendable as we look back. Let us now look to the future and toward your occupational or educational goals and may I offer every good wish to you in these endeavors. Sincerely yours, Robert J. Hughes Supervising Principal 6
