The theme of the dance was Spirit of '55. it was successful both financially and socially. The School Store was one of the main proiects. During the year a sum of money was made from selling shirts, scarfs, and athletic bags, among other things. The Monitors Club was another project. At the beginning of the year Student Council members acted as monitorsg later the Seniors were asked to take over the iob and the Student Council members became Cafeteria Monitors. This kept the halls and cafeteria in order. For the second year the Student Council went to a conference at Drumlin's which was attended by representatives from all the schools in Central New York. This was a workshop where new ideas were discussed. At this conference our Council took an active part in the registering, and leading the conference in the afternoon session. 9 'wifi , sr ll-,Ill .Y x , sa -w AQ Seefed K.
