Varsity Comes Gut on Top The 1979 wrestling season was an exceptional one and the varsity team had a great many outstanding wrestlers. Glen DeGrendel and Stan LaPerriere both went on to regionals. Stan LaPerriere and Rocky Kohler competed for the most pins of the season and Glen DeGrendel went undefeated most of the season. Other outstanding wrestlers were Tony Lamberti and Darryl Mangianti. All through the 1979 wrestling season the entire team was outstanding. The team has, and will have, many promising young wrestlers offering many excellent wrestling seasons to come. 1. john Werthmann prepares himself for his next match. 2. Attack!! 3.
