Varsity Talent Impressive This year's Varsity basketball team has put a step toward a stronger and more respectable basketball program. Though their record for the season may be unimpressive Q5-121, the Varsity lost many close games including an overtime with state rated Clawson. Among the graduating seniors were Bob MacDonald and Eric Strauss, each receiving honorable mention All-League recognition Our league, the Oakland A, is recognized statewide and the basketball team, like all teams at Chippewa Valley, has worked very hard to earn respect. l.V. Prepared for Next Year The lV Basketball team displayed a very good attitude towards a learning atmosphere. Although their record was 2-14, they still learned the skills and fundamentals. Through the year, many players showed individual improvement, but the team could not improve as a whole. Many jV players will give the Varsity team some help next year. Many of them have the skills and the ability to do so.
