. 'N7N .- N'-. Varsity Club 7 Membership in the Varsity Club can be attained by earning a Varsity letter in a Varsity sport at Chippewa. The Club members are required to participate in money making activities to receive credit for trips to professional athletic events. Some of the money making ventures include the concession -5 stand at home games, candy sales, and car washes. The club is also involved in several charity activities. F.H.A. F.H.A. is a special group of girls wno help people in many ways. They started the year off by recruiting new members, entering a car for the Homecoming parade, going bowling, attending a regional meeting, and taking cookies to a home for the aged. Their future plans include bake sales, candy sales, recreational activities, and attending the F.H.A. state convention, held at Western Michigan University in April. 3 4 Patty Covert in deep thought over the planning of another F.H.A. activity. Taking an active part in the meeting events are Liz Savage and Marie Murray. The Beat Goes On One band at Chippewa that is keeping the musical beat on a high note is the Stage Band. Stage Band, directed by Ron Cardeccia, can be found at Basketball games, Fall Follies, and Stage Band concerts. Neither the students or Mr. Cardeccia receive any money or extra credit for playing in the band, but they sure give people a lot of enjoyment. .-4' 1. Mr. Cardeccia keeps the beat up. 2. Fall Follies performance. 3. Half time entertainment. 4. One and a two and a three. 5. Outstanding band student Bruce Bradford. 6. Practice makes perfect.
