U B.0.E.C. The Business Office Education Club fB.O.E.C.i is a high school career education organization for students with a career objective in office occupations. Membership is for those students who are currently enrolled in a business course. Some of the purposes of B.O.E.C. are to develop and strengthen the confidence of young people in themselves and their work, to improve and establish standards for entrance into a business career, to encourage the development of occupational skills, knowledge and ability to a high level of proficiency, and to develop leadership ability through participation in educational, vocational, 'N civic, recreational and social activities. ,-eq i um -N4 2 aieaabaeeeie eocicaaooooos Front row from the left: Sue Donnellon, Rene Anderson, Sue Malburg, Sandy Banach, Sharon Gehle. F.H.A. F.H.A. is a special group of girls wno help people in many ways. They started the year off by recruiting new members, entering a car for the Homecoming parade, going bowling, attending a regional meeting, and taking cookies to a home for the aged. Their future plans include bake sales, candy sales, recreational activities, and attending the F.H.A. state convention, held at Western Michigan University in April. 3 4 Patty Covert in deep thought over the planning of another F.H.A. activity.
