Forensics Does It Again. 1, Don't you love Miss Konrad's braids. 2. Forensic and Drama trophies. 3. A nice ride on the bus. 4. Forensic students study real hard. 5, Good time to relax. Forensics is a competitive speech activity. Students from all over the State compete in tournaments every Saturday from Mid-February to early May. Forensics is a creative and diversified activity consisting of 10 different categories of performances regulated by strict rules and time limits. Chippewa's teams, under the skill of Miss Stephanie Konrad, has been recognized as one of the top ten teams in the State. 4 . Student Government Within the guidance of the officers and the extreme hard work of it's members, this year's Student Government is a very enthusiastic and efficient group of students. The main objective for this year is to organize as many activities as possible for the students at Chippewa, so that school unity and spirit is increased. This year's Student Government has learned to practice the parliamentary procedure and the adminstrative process. Though lacking in experience, the debators came through in that victorious Chippewa tradition. Starting late into the season, they entered the Middle Macomb League and left with trophies and a 12-6 record. Debators winning trophies were Kim Rude, Third Place Speaker Award, George Schuster, Fifth Place Speaker Award, and julie Kurzava, Over-All Top Debator. This year's team consisted of Coach Mr. Walter Tychloiz, Capt. Theodore Oresky, George Schuster, Kim Rude, and julie Kurzava. -1 , l--X N , J!
