There's Alot Cooking At the Meeting Grounds t, McDonald's, Big Boy's, Denny's, and Sixpence all had to start out somewhere and so has the Meeting Grounds. This faculty serving restaurant is run by Mrs. Rose Bellanca and Commercial Food students. Besides managing the Meeting Grounds, students are trained in the preparing, purchasing, and servicing of food, which is excellent training for a future career as chef, matre'd, and many more rewarding careers in the restaurant business. Donn Ever thi ' g y 'ng With Style Like the picture says, Hairdressers do it better, and the Cos girls can prove it! Not many people know the hard work and dedication put into Cosmetology class. This vocational class begins at the start of your junior year, continues throughout the summer, and all of your Senior year. After working a certain amount of hours, the girls are ready to try their expertise on real customers. They practice by giving shampoos, haircuts, dyes, and permanents. During this time they accumulate 1500 hours of experience, enabling them to get their operator's license. -.425

Take Two Call Health Occupations class gives the students the chance to learn more about the medical field. The students learn first aid, CPR, taking blood pressures and many other useful things. Health Occupations can also help decide if the medical Held is the right decision because of guest speakers, field trips, and actual experience in a health related job. They are guided by Ms. Helen Roche, a registered nurse.
