Yu... While living in the age of modern technology we have seen many changes in how our society is operated. Data Processing is an example of modern technology taking place in our school today. Students can learn how to program computers to solve difficult problems. Being a vocational course, it enables the student to acquire the skills needed in seeking employment after graduation. lt not only is beneficial for the students' present use, but is also helpful when applying some methods used in solving problems to everyday life. When will this ever end? 5 . 1: f: 5 g , The business department seems to be progressing in many areas this year. With the new west center open,the business department has many new machines available for students to use. Secretarial occupations, a new vocational class, is geared towards teaching the students not only the basics, but what it's really like being a legal or private secretary or to work in a secretarial pool. The basics of business are also on hand for those who want to learn typing, shorthand, record keeping, etc. These classes are helpful to those who use typing in the classes they are presentlv taking.

Donn Ever thi ' g y 'ng With Style Like the picture says, Hairdressers do it better, and the Cos girls can prove it! Not many people know the hard work and dedication put into Cosmetology class. This vocational class begins at the start of your junior year, continues throughout the summer, and all of your Senior year. After working a certain amount of hours, the girls are ready to try their expertise on real customers. They practice by giving shampoos, haircuts, dyes, and permanents. During this time they accumulate 1500 hours of experience, enabling them to get their operator's license. -.425
