've got the music in me 1 ?'ln- This year has been very challenging for the choir under the new direction of Kathellen Merrill. The year started out very successfully with standing room only both nights at Fall Follies. The Christmas concert was held at St. Peter's church and the choirs were accompanied by a Flushing string quartet. During the holidays the 4 ii 2 Several soloists received top ratings at state competition. Arlene Theisen, Ann Deeb, jim Riggio and David Klerkx all received one. The spring concert was the last performance of the year, being just as successful as Fall Follies. This year has been very enduring as well as productive for everyone involved in choir.

Business Dept. Progresses . .uisikvmws Uibiii' 1, Mr. Campbell and Mr. Kolch. 2- Keep your eyes off the keys! 3. When will this ever end? 5 . 1: f: 5 g , The business department seems to be progressing in many areas this year. With the new west center open,the business department has many new machines available for students to use. Secretarial occupations, a new vocational class, is geared towards teaching the students not only the basics, but what it's really like being a legal or private secretary or to work in a secretarial pool. The basics of business are also on hand for those who want to learn typing, shorthand, record keeping, etc. These classes are helpful to those who use typing in the classes they are presentlv taking.
