Determmatlon Improves Track Record Rebounding from a slow start the Boys Track Team compiled a fine record of 5-5. Sophomores and freshmen proved to be the backbone of the well-rounded team. School records were set by john Cuccio in the high jump, by Bill Patterson in the 330 yd. low hurdles and Don Domin for total points awarded. The coaches Mr. Pokley and Mr. Bagos hope that the team's natural talent will improve for this year's Oakland A debut.

Young Team Gains Experience An outstanding record was achieved by the Girls Track Team with the coaching of Ms. Terry Drake finishing out the year with a record of 9-1. The track team took second in the league, third in the league meet and third in the city meet. Two members of the team qualified for state finalsg Maureen Raska in the long jump and Lori Leudke in the discus. The team shows much promise for the future.
