DEAR ECHO BLUE DIARY Dear Diary, Well it's June already and today is our last deadline. What a relief. It's really been an experience for all of us. We'll always remember Mrs. Cikra's dreaded announcements coming over the p.a. warning us to be at those Wednesday night meetings. When you would hear her or Mrs. Robbins call your name from down the hall you'd run in the opposite direction only to be greeted by one of them later in the day with a little somethingu that needed done. Not much gets said about all the work that,s done by the annual staff. You don't hear about all the layouts drawn that can't be used, or all the notebook paper with useless words written on it that gets thrown in the waste basket. Remember that iirst deadline? Up until all hours ofthe night trying to get Hnished, knowing that in the morning, everything would be sitting just where you left it, unfinished. Some things that we'll never forget are our dinner at Tangiers that we all agreed we deserved, and our new salesman with the blue eyes. The few of us that went to yearbook camp at Hiram College won't forget the food or how much we Wanted to go home. Connie and Tami will always have the numb fingers from typing in the back of their minds. Carole won't let us forget that she had to do six whole pages for her last deadline. All year we wait for our last deadline and now it's here. It's sort of sad when you look back on all the fun we had together. We were sort ofa family I guess.
