Genesis, who invaded the Coliseum Stage before a sell-out crowd, played nearly all the songs that their loyal and waiting fans stood in line and spent their hard-earned money to hear. Alice Cooper plays chicken with the chickens in a song from his Lace and Whiskey album in a performance well worth seeing. Genesis has a show which is full of music, lights, and lasers. As for their showmanship, they are the tops without a doubt.

F IDDLER Students and teachers working together produced one ofthe most successful plays in the area. The play was directed by Mrs. Hetsch with Mrs. Murray as her assistant. The cast started practic- ing in October and spent Christmas vacation practicing six to eight hours a day. Opening night was Friday, January 13. The atten- dance was estimated at 350 for their Hrst performance and rose to 550 for the Sunday matinee. The total amount cleared was 5850. The fiddler, played by Martin Scudder, practiced many hours to play in four scenes. Tzietcl, Lyn Terry, plays matchmaker to her sister Hodel, Diana Cook, while the mop plays the handsome prince in Hodel's life. A surprise visit by Grandma Tzietel's ghost, Diana Troyer, helps Tevye convince Golde to let Tzietel and Motel be wed. The butcher's departed wife Fruma-Sarsh, Marilyn Kulscar, threatens Tevye of Tzietel's fate it' she marries Lazar Wolf. Through her tears Tzietel tells her father that she would rather dig ditches or haul rocks than marry Lazar Wolf.
