RESER VE S The 1978 Reserve baseball team, coached by Rob Marshall, compiled a 4-5 league and 4-9 overall record. Consisting of many rookies, the team was lacking ex- perience. As the season progressed, the quality of play improved. DIAMOND LADIES The Chippette softball team finished the season with a 1-12 record. Their sole win came in the first round of sectionals against Norwayne. Diane Lindeman received the Most Valuable Player award while the Sportsmanship award was given to Carole Miller. Diane and Dianna Troyer made All-League and Jill Huffman and Carole made Honorable Mention.
