WEIGHT WATCHING WINNERS The highlight of this year's wrestling season was the victory at the W.C.L. tournament. There were four county champs, and John Srock was voted the tourney's most valuable wrestler. The Chipp Wrestlers Hnished the season with a 5-2 dual record, placed eighth in the sectional and sent three wrestlers to districts. They were Jerry Busson, John Srock and Don Srock. The team voted Jerry Busson most valuable wrestler and John Srock most improved wrestler. CHALLENGE ON CINDERS The '77-'78 Boys Track team had a season to be proud of. They won first place honors at the Smithville Night Relays, the Doylestown Invitational, and the Clay- mont Relays. Freshman and Sophomore boys and girls won the WCL combined team score. The dual meet record was 4-1. Nine boys qualified for districts. The Most Improved Award went to Jerry Underwoodg Total Points and Most Valuable Field to Kirk Carpenterg Most Valuable Runner went to Phil Sales, Most Dedicated went to Jeff Grigsbyg Tony Williams got the Coaches Award.
