This year's track team ran a majority of their meets on a wet track. However, despite the rain, they managed to pull an excellent record. Many meets had to be rescheduled, and some were can- celled, due to the rain. The Chipps kept their spirit and showed few signs of discouragement. UPPER RIGHT, The most dedicated runner, Eric McCallum, is first to cross the finish line. LOWER LEFT, With arms in the air, Frank Hersman ends a race clinching first place. BELOW With a giant leap, Hollingsworth soars into the air. CENTER The shot is hurled into the air by Don Downs. UPPER RIGHT Statistics for track this year were kept by, F. Konich, I. Daniel, D. Ashley and L. Shaver. FAR RIGHT, With baton in hand john Garcia, proudly finishes the relay. FAR BELOW Track Court for this year were, Soph. P. Rohr, Sr. D. Ashley, Queen S. Reeves, jr. A. I-Ianawalt, Fr. T. Garcia. RIGHT CENTER, Prepared for the start, Larry Lemaster concentrated on the track ahead.

After a promenade at the school the Couples were escorted to the Norton Brown Derby for dinner and dancing to the sounds of Larry Patchwork and the Patchwork. Individual pictures of the couples were taken by a photographer from Sy1vart's Studio and the evening ended with a showing of the recent movie Hote1.
