They had a lot of practice before school started and through football season and it really showed at the half-time football game shows. A lot: of the spirit at those games canie from the band with all their cheers backing up the Chipp team. Football season wasn't the only time the Chipp band displayed their talents. During basketball season they had a pep band that entertained at half.time and they also had a pop concert in February. A new track course is made by Chipps Making their way through muddy fields and uneven gound, CHS, for the first time took part in Cross Country Track competition. The men entered the sport with gre at enthusiam and much training under the direction of Tom Buch. Through the course of the season the Chipps picked up a 6-4 record. Upon the graduation of the four senior lettermen, Coach Buch is anticipating great support from underclassmen in the Coming year. BOTTOM FIRST ROW: C. Hughes, J. johnson, I-I. Hollingsworth, M.
