December ' ' December. . .With it came the Christmas Formal, one of the biggest events of the year. Stu- dents went early and stayed late. We cheered the basketball team as the Indians began a full schedule. President Skaggs entertained in the Student Cen- ter with a dinner for the faculty. Spirits were high as the holiday season approached in spite of all the rush for last minute work on humanities projects and term papers. On the last day of classes we assembled in the auditorium for a most impressive Christmas convocation. President Skaggs read Dicken 's CHRISTMAS CAROL, and we were proud of the Glee Club's rendition of the HALLELUJAH CHORUS. Then everyone said good-bye to the Chipola campus for ' two weeks and good-bye to 1959. Students in the Glee Club relax after a breath -taking performance for the Christmas Convocation.
