The principle” of the thing is Mr. Coleman Mr. C. C. Coleman, our principal, gives of his time, talents, and energies to lead each student at Chipley High toward higher goals of achievement. Mr. Coleman has many responsibilities and carries out these while maintaining the respect and con- sideration of the students and the faculty. He is obligated to provide the opportunities necessary for wisdom, and equip us to fulfill individual desires and aims in the world around us. Mr. Coleman received his B. S. from Auburn U niversity and his M. S. at Florida State. Later he attended the University of Georgia to earn his M.Ed. A total of twelve years of service as a teacher, principal, friend, and advisor to the students of CHS has been given by Mr. Coleman. His patience and understanding shows his concern for our tomorrow. 18
