EMessage Here is our book. Long hours have been spent in preparing it and trying to make it something you will treasure for life. We have tried to capture the best and most important memories between the covers of the 1965 PAW PRINTS. Not only have we tried to show extracurricular activities, such as sports and clubs, but we have done something that was considered radical and extreme for high school annuals. We have actually tried to picture the curricular side of school through scenes from typical classroom situations. We would like to express our appreciation to the principal, to every faculty mem- ber and to every student who through their cooperation have helped us publish this book. With the sincere wish that each of you will find something among these pages that you will treasure for a long, long time we present you this 1965 PAW PRINTS. 10

BduutottM The task of molding hundreds of minds, characters, and personalities is daily placed in the hands of our teachers. They have been given the awesome task of giving each student the incentive and the driving force that life demands of all. They have never rejected this challenge, but have constantly attained and over- came their goal of forming useful and good citizens. The explanation of their determi- nation can be found hidden deep in the dedication of a teacher to his students. A teacher affects eternity, he can never tell where his influence stops.

A teacher in the noblest sense of the word, he has guid- ed us by word and example. His dignity, rich spiritual life, and genuine friendliness have been worthy of emulation. Always ready to understand, to sympathize, to rejoice, to laugh, he has freely given of his time, talents, and himself.
