Through the years we’ve learned to love thee, Now we sing thy praise, For the kindness thou hast shown us Through our high school days. You are now turning the pages of “our book.” To each of us it has a deep and special meaning. To the student, es- pecially the graduate, it portrays the experiences of the past year. It has been the sincere wish of the entire Paw Prints staff to bring to you a yearbook of which you can be proud. As you turn these pages years from now, may you find satisfaction in viewing the events in which you participated as a student of C.H.S. s ct i t a % 9 VALERY O. JTlnrtda Dear Mr. Kimbrough, It is because we have learned to respect and admire you that we, the Senior Class, have taken this page in the • 61 Paw Prints to express our deep appreciation and gratitude to you. We have grown to have the greatest confidence in you, not only as a superior teacher and coach, but as an understanding adult who is always willing to help us. We shall always remember you for your leadership and for the great sense of pride you instilled in us through your school spirit lectures. It is now that we say........................ We appreciate you, Mr. Kimbrough. The oenior Class, 196U 'U tctfc zC x Finishing high school should never be the end of a person’s formal education in today’s world. With automation replacing man in so many fields, a high school diploma is worth no more than an elementary education was twenty years ago. Chipley High School was erected, equipped, and staffed for the purpose of affording the young people in this community a better chance to succeed through education. To a large degree, how well each of you takes advantage of these facilities will determine how successful you will be in life. To impress upon you the importance of study and preparation, here is a quotation from the Bible: “Study to show yourself acceptable unto God.” God gave man intelligence and he ex- pects him to use it to his fullest capacity. ii ft IS®® Editor SHIRLEY PITTS Photographer and Sports Editor DWIGHT W ARD Copy Editor CAROLYN PIPPIN Copy Editor PENNY WEBB Circulation Editor SUE BURDESHAW Scnatc i St M Reporter LINDA DAVIS Reporter MARTHA PETERSON 14 S tton, ALICE PIERCE Civics JIM KIMBROUGH History RALPH RAY Business Education VALERY BUTLER Business Education Paatt a TVofiCcC J. We felt that all our dreams would be complete if it were only to- morrow—and we were seniors. We realize, now, as seniors, that our future and our tomorrow still looms before us. We have reached what appeared to be our goal only to discover that it was merely a crossroad.
