o k Or a ? ? Editor's Uesso As the year draws to a close, we look hack with pleasure upon the events that have filled our cup of memories to overflowing. We have attempted to capture the best and most outstanding of these memories between the covers of the 1962 PAW PRINTS. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have an advisor as capable as Miss Jane Saunders to help us over the rough spots; and we cannot adequately express our thanks to our photographer, Leslie O’Steen, whose patience and cooperation with the annual staff were truly astonishing and always appreciated. We hope that we have succeeded in our endeavor to present a good annual to you, the students of Chipley High. With the sincere wish that each of you will find among these pages something special—something you will remember for a long, long time— we give you the 1962 Paw Prints. BARBARA WATTS During our high school years there have been many times when we have needed help and guidance. It was during these times that we found we could always depend on Mrs. Watts. Whenever we have needed advice she could always be counted on to give us wise counsel and the answers to our questions. She has taught us good citizenship, respect, and honor in addition to helping us gain unity as a class. To you, Mrs. Barbara Watts, we, the class of 1962, dedicate the Paw Prints, in return for the priceless gifts of knowledge and inspiration you have bestowed upon us. We deeply express our gratitude for the guidance and support you have so unselfishly given us. PiUtcifx ’s Ufissog STUDENTS OF CHIP LEY HIGH SCHOOL Another school year is almost over. For most of you this means simply that another grade is completed. To the seniors this means the year of fulfillment. The plans and achievements of the past years have brought them to this long awaited time. Each student and graduating senior should remember that the life he lives today will determine what he will be tomorrow. My challenge to you is to live your life in such a way that the future will bring all the success and happiness you desire. 5 1 MRS. PIERCE Civics MR. RAY Business Education MR.
